Ah, the teen years. Seven turbulent years suspended between childhood and adulthood.  By the time your teen reaches adulthood you may find yourself wondering how you… and your teen…survived.

“Our youth loves luxuries.  They have bad manners, contempt for authority.  They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up their food, and tyrannize their teacher.”

Sound familiar?  What if we told you that quote is attributed to Socrates, and he said it sometime before the year 399 BC?!

So, what might your teen have in common with a kid in a toga?  They share some timeless traits:  fear, doubt, low self-esteem, peer pressure and getting you to trust them with the key to the chariot…er…car, on a Saturday night.
